To post an event:
Go to www.google.com to create a Google account using the Agency/RSO official email address as the username.
- NOTE: DO NOT USE PERSONAL GOOGLE ACCOUNTS.
- Please create a NEW Google account for your RSO.
- Example: rso_name@gmail.com NOT joe_smith@gmail.com
- Personal Google accounts will not be granted access to post to the calendar.
Use the registration form to the right to request posting privileges.
- Student organizations should request the RSO Calendar.
- List your new gmail account in the email field.
- OSI Agencies should use their individual calendars.
- Please list your agency or RSO name in the RSO/Agency Name field. Submissions that are missing this information will not be approved.
View the calendar you would like to add, using this website.
- Click on the "Add Google Calendar" icon on the bottom right of the calendar.
- The calendar you selected will now appear in your calendar list in your Google account.
Once you have completed steps 1-3:
- Visit http://www.google.com/calendar. Sign in to your account using your official email address as your username. (If you forget your password, please use the "I cannot access my account" link on the Google sign-in page.)
- Select the appropriate calendar in the "My Calendars List" on the left side of the page. All registered student organizations must use the RSO Calendar; OSI agencies or UCF departments may use their corresponding calendar.
- Choose daily, weekly, or monthly view of the appropriate month.
- Click on a day on the calendar to add an event. For recurring events, click on "edit event details" link in the event form pop-up.
- Log out of the Google calendar system.
- Your events will now appear in the calendar listing on the OSI Calendar website. Please direct your students to visit the OSI Calendar website to view the schedule of events.
